In November of 2009, a group of artists and worhsippers came together for a weekend of encouragement and equipping at the annual Resound Conference held in Boulder, Colorado. As a result of this weekend and the friendships that were developed, a small group of artists decided to collaborate on a new creative endeavor, with a vision of serving the local church with new and fresh songs for corporate worship gatherings. This first project simply entitled 'Vol. 1' chronicles 6 weeks of writing, prayer, and reflection on the beauty and faithfulness of God. Featuring artists Aaron Strumpel, Karla Adolphe, Luke Humbrecht, Dave Wilton, and Jason Roberson… all seasoned songwriters and worship leaders in their own right. 'Vol. 1' takes you on a beautiful journey, with a call to worship in “Get Up And Dance”, to simple prayers offered to God in “Your Bride”, and “Come Quickly”. Listeners will be quickly drawn in and find themselves effortlessly singing along as each song is carefully crafted with simple and accessible lyric. The creativity and depth expressed through this uniquely assembled group of worship leaders offers a fresh approach to congregational worship music that leaves you wanting more.
